My scout has been in and has MOVED MY BLOODY EXAM PAPER. It's not where I left it, which was on the desk. It's not in any of the obvious places.

I've got the questions typed into my computer. But but but but.... I can't find my exam paper. *fear*

In other news, my motivation problem which I've been doing so well with all term seems to be back. The idea of getting on with things is rather terrifying at the moment. Will just have to get the fuck on with it. Yes.

Yeah, it is good. It's been much better - I just hope I can hold it together is all.

(Also, and not that I didn't know it anyway, but this suggests to me that postgrad reasearch would be a seriously dumb idea for me...)

Postgrad research can be quite a change from undergrad stuff. It is a lot less structured and supervised, so you need to be able to motivate yourself. But on the other hand, they don't make you write about silly topics that you have no interest in, instead letting you choose things that you have a passion for.

For what it's worth, my experience indicates that whilst doing postgrad research, the cleaners just hoover the hall and don't ever come into the room.

This may, however, not be very helpful in the grand scheme of things.
