Oh god, I just accidentally downloaded pornographic fanart pictures of an eighties cartoon I was once obsessed with onto my dad's computer... and I know for a FACT that no matter how hard I delete them he's going to know they were there.
*blush* I didn't think it was going to be, you know, your actual porn. And then it really rather was.

It was Thundercats. And I'd been reading fic on and off for a couple of days, cos it's better than I'd thought possible, a lot of it's written by people I know as good writers over in LOTR fandom. And then I clicked a link to a pic and suddenly it was graphic porn on a furry site...

It's also vaguely made_up's fault, cos when she linked to the Rosemary Sutcliffe slash a while back, I started to go back through my childhood obsessions with the slash-glasses on. There doesn't seem to be any Prince Valiant fic out there, but I'd noticed the dungeons and dragons and not gotten around to clicking the links yet...

Thundercats porn. It wouldn't have been so bad if it had been almost anything else, but because it was thundercats I accidentaly ended up on a Furry site, and registered that actually, yes, I do still have a squick button... I hadn't registered there was anything left that would shock me...

I did already know that one... came accross it in some comic book or another...
It actually doesn't (for want of a better word...) squick me so much, because... well, the thing about Furry stuff is that it's only half a step more sick and twisted than what I'd be prepared to do myself, and surprisingly common; the thing I find odd is that I know for a fact that there are people I share common ground with who would engage in Furry stuff... I think I'd place squicking in the same category as incest, canibalism, and various other forms of torture, where I wouldn't seek it out in fic or fandom deliberately as such, but a warning for it wouldn't necessarily put me off a fic where it was central to the plot or whatever. :)
