Oh, and summerjob update - they don't know how many more places they have to fill, and they're not going to until after Easter. So I won't know until then. I got an e-mail which I initially thought was a rejection letter at ten thirty this evening when I got in and Arsenal had fucked up the football...

Then I actually, y'know, read the e-mail, and it said they were still waiting for confirmation on one of the camps they're running so they don't yet know how many teachers they need and I'm on the reserve list for that camp.

This strikes me as a weeny bit incompetent and scary of them. But it's better than a straight out 'we think you're rubbish'

At least if they're a bit incompetent, you can feel better for missing the original interview. At least you didn't turn up and say you weren't sure if you could make the camp.... :-)

Oh good, you actually got it. :) I woke up this morning and registered that posting a religious rant to an e-mail adress I wasn't 100% sure of when half asleep at four in the morning probably wasn't the world's most sensible thing ever...
