My next door neighbour's brought a girl back to his room. Which I don't begrudge him. Really. It's just that it's two in the morning, and I can't get to fucking sleep.

Mostly all I can hear is music. But the... other noises... tell me that knocking on his door at this point to ask him to turn the music down would NOT be a wise move.

And I'm sooooo tired. I was working til the wee hours last night to get an essay in.

I think the music might be preferable to "other" sounds you may hear. In my first year whenever someone put music on late at night you knew what they were getting up to, but fortunately you didn't have to hear exactly what they were getting up to.

There's no feeling in the world more frustrating than wanting and needing to go to sleep, but not being able to because there's too much noise around you. And I have the feeling that Rome will be worse if I do end up there *sigh*. I guess there's always that amazing Italian coffee...
