Advent!

Last year was my first Christmas on LJ, and several people did virtual advent callenders (I mostly remember uberwald's one), with different Cool Things behind lj cuts every day between the first and 24th of December.

This year, I'm going to take this idea and abuse it horribly to my own ends.

I'm going to post behind an LJ cut a minimum of 100 words of new fic, every day of advent. Each new fic will be self contained - a drabble or a vignette or a short story, or conceivably some poetry. Most will be fanfic of one type or another, although some will almost certainly be original. Hopefully every one will be a different fandom, or pairing, or style.

Please feel free to suggest a fandom or pairing that you'd like to see me attempt, especially if you think it's something I won't do unless asked - there's no need to request, say, Bikey, or Giles/Constantine.

I'll post visible warnings for slash, RPF and any other questionable content on a fic by fic basis, but if you want to know fandom and pairing, you'll have to click. Cos that's the suprise, see?

Can I ask a really stupid question? What exactly is a drabble? I've come across the word before, but never managed to figure out exactly what it refers to...

A fic that's exactly 100 words long is the exact definition, although also means a very short fic that acheives what it sets out to in as few words as humanly possible.
