In other news, I wanna expand my flist. So, in a kind of bastardised version of that meme that went round a while back, please rec me a friend to add. But, and here's the catch for some of you, someone whose primary fandom isn't footie. I added a load of new footie people over Euro 2004 and while I love all you guys and your wonderful, wonderful spam, I want to rebalance my flist. If you like, I will rec you someone to add back - just ask.

oxford people: ben 'quizcustodet' (as in, awroe's flatmate and friend of me, kat, anselm etc. he doesnt update that much, only got a journal cos we all nagged him i think), shreena 'shreena' (ex-g&s person, ben's girlfriend, i know thru budsoc, now in bristol with me. posts stuff about life, silly news articles online and stuff).
people who never update or have a main journal on deadjournal so dont add them - wehate118118, pet_lunatic, tiggerhappy.
other - becca 'teylaminh' my very geeky friend from school - she fanfics for buffy, starscape, sunset boulevard and various other things i dont read fic of :-) and writes a lot about things she watches/buys, and actors/writers she stalks etc. she writes a lot.

Teylaminh random fic ness sounds like what I was looking for. Off my friends page I recomend ladydewinter who geeks in the fandoms of Harry Potter (where she slashes amongst other people Sirius/Snape, much to my disgust as a Sirius/Remus girl myself), Buffy, Firefly and others, and also frequently recs/posts/geeks over decent music and poetry and other random stuff. She's also gay and living in Germany, and I don't for the life of me remeber how she ended up on my flist cos our friends don't overlap by a lot.
