anotherusedpageI went to play with my old ff.net account, because I wanted my LOTR fic posted somewhere that wasn't members only. And I discovered that all the formatting's been mucked up on half my old fic up there.
When I say half my fic, I only really mean the Hellblazer/Buffy fic, but it's still annoying. I don't know whether I can be bothered to reupload stuff.On the one hand, if I do, I'll be able to put back the missing italics, and correct the stray spelling.
On the other hand, it'll take a while to find all the bits of the fic again. And if I start fiddling with the formatting and spelling, I'm likely to start trying to rewrite it. Which would be a bad thing.
On the other other hand, I have actually written the first page or so of a very complicated sequel, involving the Invisibles and possibly some Sandman characters too as well as the Buffy people and Constantine, which I really do want to actually write and post at some point.
On the OTHER other other hand, I've promissedcottonwoolfairy more Narnia fic, and I need to finish the LOTR fic which was the entire reason I started going round this loop in the first place, and I've got two bits of epic AU footy stuff vaguely underway (one of which may well also star Constantine, incidentally. I mean after all, if Becks has accidentally sold his soul to Satan, where is he going to turn but Mikey's Liverpool buddies? And where are they going to turn other than Constantine?) and then there's my own writing... and that's not to mention college work.
And I realise that only about three people on this friends list - possibly less - will understand all of what I'm blathering on about. And I dunno if anyone other than possiblyuberwald would actually appreciate a David Beckham meets John Constantine fic to the same extent that I would. But there we go.
Anyway. In other news I actually did some college work today, and made a pretty time line of the renaissance period (and learned to spell it! It only has one n!) and I read the first couple of pages of Bacon's Advancement of learning, which I don't think advanced my learning at all. And I ordered more books off amazon, and the Fairy Queene on audio book, which I suspect will make me actually finish it.
