I thought I'd post the link to my most recent fic just for the hell of it. Nothing like the football slash, apart from the fact that it's slashy. In fact, it's very gently Narnia slash. So. Go have a look, if that kind of thing floats your boat.
In other news... god, what have I been doing for the past day? I hardly remember. Playing utterly random therapuetic beat-em-up computer games. Sleeping through a lecture on Our Mutual Friend. I might've stayed awake if it wasn't for the fact that the speaker's mic had the reverb turned up way too high, and no one could hear a word he was saying. When we pointed this out to him, he said 'oh' and kept going. Which was nice of him.
And I've been translating Anglo Saxon in Tolkein's old pub, which is just SOOOO romantic. Only got four and a half lines done, but still.

Ooh. Scary - just as I was reading that the Today programme decided to do a thing on the Caspian region.

ooh, I liked that Edmund! You got the voice just right, and Caspian all stiff and awe-struck. And a round of applause for the clever meta-bit with the tutor's metaphor theory.

You got some wacky comments there hey? fanfiction.net is a scary place.

... I don't mind the wacky comments. And I've never picked up what I'd call an actual flame... probably because what I write does tend to be quite gentle. Oh no, I lie - I was once flamed when you were still alowed lists up for a list with a slightly anti-american flavour to it. But I probably deserved it, I wasn't exactly being very polite.
People's spelling and grammar gets quite interesting though, doesn't it?

Hmm. Yeah. Some interesting reviews. The 'blub' girl sounds like she's trying to write an essay on it AND hasn't read the books recently...
It was wonderful. You know I think it's wonderful, I'd read it already. You really SHOULD do a Dawn Treader sequel, at some point. But I dread to think what your 'Faithful Narnia Fan' would say...

In which case, screw my Faithful Narnia Fan. It's not like I was ever planning on writing graphic sex scenes.

Not THOSE graphic sex scenes, anyway. The blub girl was a boy, incidentally. I got a random e-mail from him at one point I think.
