Actually - and I know this cos a friend of mine was on the research team in Cambridge that proved this - you only get the genetic material from one of your two x chromasomes. The other one kinda shrivells up. So you have more DNA on your sex chormasomes.

It's true that one of the chromosomes is inactivated and "shrivels up", but that chromosome is still present in the cell, and the DNA is still there, so my comment still holds.

Inactive DNA may have an important role in maintaining the size and structure in the nucleus; therefore, you have better supported cells, and that explains why unconventional typing comes to you more naturally.

It's all due to quantum. So there. ;)
