I just broke the tip off my kitchen knife by stabbing it into my book of anglo saxon poetry. VERY clever Jessie.
So then I thought that the BEST thing to do about being pissed off about the fact that I can't do my sodding essay would be to come and procrastinate on LJ. Technically speaking I need it to be finished in the next half an hour. Cos then I'm gonna go to hall and then to rehearsal and I won't be back til at least 10.30, and I REALLY don't want to have to work late tonight.

Cos I was pissed off with it. Cos it was better than stabbing the knife into the back of my hand. Cos I'm really trully shite at dealing with being frustrated.
Although I prefer the book was attacking me option. It does have a dirty great dragon on the front cover.

Screaming is very good for releasing stress. I did a lot of that during Finals revision last year.

Maybe not clever, but funny. From this end. In... thing. Word. Not perspective. In per... in pre... in... oh fuck it. Maybe it was with anyway. But the point is... yes. Oh dear. But now of course your anglo saxon has a big knife mark in it which is kind of appropriate, and your hand does not which is a Very Good Thing.

awww dont know why this seems cute to me. maybe because it reminds me of (disclaimer: i hate friends. but i saw this episode...) an episode of friends where joey puts little women in the freezer so he doesnt have to read about beth dying. books do have a life of their own. i read a quote yesterday:
'outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.'

Inside a dog it's too dark to read... hehehehehe that's brilliant. And I've refused to continue reading books when I know that a character I like is going to die, and I've also put books in the freezer, but the two have never been connected.
