Fucking student loans fucking fuck.
And this time it's all my fault. I mean, as if they haven't fucked me over enough already, I had to go and lose the bloody paperwork, didn't I? It's not the end of the world, as such, cos I know the loan company has the copy they need and so does my uni, but now I can't prove my financial status to the various people that are clamouring to know, ie inland fucking revenue (I only worked for TWO BLOODY MONTHS and they're after all my fucking cash...) and the NHS (free at the point of delivery? My arse. And I said I'd never complain about it again having spent three months of this year in the USA with no health service at all, and ambulances competing for custom at the scene of an accident... but for gods sake, I can't get a fucking pair of replacment NHS glasses cos proof that your a student ain't enough to get exemption, you've got to send your proof that your a student to the department of health, who then send you back a certificate saying that you're a student who doesn't have to pay NHS charges and AAAAAARGH the fucking paper work is driving me INSANE..... god this must be the longest bracketed thought in the entire history of literature...)
And it's entirely my fault. I'm a complete idiot. I threw away the wrong copy, kept the blank copy and threw away the copy that actually had the info on. But the forms are so bloody confusing! For fuck's sake I'm an Oxford English student, and if I can't understand what they're bloody trying to say, then what the hell hope has anyone else got? Excuse my snobbery.
And all of a sudden it's half past one in the morning. Dunno where today went.
Sigh.
Right, that's today's rant over and done with.

Good luck getting it all sorted. One of the benefits of being out of high school is definitely *not* all the paperwork involved. Usually I do my best to sort it out, but end up sending it off to my dad because he's been doing this kind of stuff for years and I'm too busy to figure it out. I would like to be able to do it for myself though.

and a perfectly justified rant it was. It's only when you hit uni that you realise that Yes, Minister kind of played down the civil service. My highlights were the discovery that I'd never been given a National Insurance number and my exam results going missing cos they thought my surname had an extra 'h'.

I had real issues with my Ucas form because I'd never been to school in the same borrough I was living in, so my LEA didn't have any records of me at all, so I didn't automatically get all the correct paperwork sent to me, I had to request it from them, and prove my status four hundred times over.
So yeah. Beaurocracy sucks.

meep.
