1 - If you want to be interviewed, leave a comment.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
These are the questions
ladydewinter asked me:
1. What is a major source of inspiration for you?
Gyah, that's a really hard one. I don't really have an external source of inspiration. If you mean like creative inspiration, then it depends on what I'm trying to write / what I've been reading recently. If you mean just general inspiration.... I really don't know. Music inspires me. As do big open expansive spaces, like being up a mountain or at the grand canyon. But... I dunno, not in a big way. Hmmm. I guess I lack inspiration. Mebbe that's the problem.
2. What is your favourite pass time during boring lectures?
Uh... I tend to just skip them, they're not really that compulsory/important/useful. Sometimes I'll turn up, but fall asleep. I doodle, and I've been known to write fic and slash. Probably my favourite thing to do is daydream and to watch the people who live in my head doing random things like dancing on the desks, or being slashy, or standing behind the lecturer pulling silly faces. This keeps me amused for hours.
3. Name three "embarassing" CDs you own.
I'm not really embarassed by much of my music. Uh... I have some Take That albums (tapes, not cds) which I never listened to not even at the time, but were given to me by an old friend (Teri) and have a fair amount of sentimental value so I haven't got rid of them. And then there are some Woody Guthrie and other folky and country-y tapes which I used to listen to obsessively when I was about five. But even them I'm not embarassed by as such.
4. If you could live in a fairy tale, which one would you choose?
Does Lord of the Rings count? I'm trying to think of something with lots of magical music in it, and not coming up with anything. I'd hate to be a fairy-tale princess. Maybe Snow Queen would do.
5. What do you do if you can't fall asleep?
Again, I daydream. Or I get up and do something, like mucking around on the internet. Or I go and chat to one of my flatmates - no matter what time of the day or night, there's usually someone around. If I need to get to sleep because I need to get up in the morning, which is a rare occurance, then I'll do relaxation and breathing excersises, which usually doesn't help but it's what my parents tell me to do.
