Fics I need to write:

In the very near future:
The rest of my entry for femgenficathon, due in about three days...
The rest of Henry, Pires and the Holy Grail, which I really wanna have finished before the new season starts. There are two parts left, the two parts currently written took several months each and I wanna finish the rest in about two weeks....
Bikey! It's been a while since those two have been in the slightest bit relevent, and I hope that writing the Becks-is-kicked-off-the-team fic will at least partially cure my total football-fandom apathy.
And yeah, notafic, but I need to write up my South Africa trip before I forget stuff.

At some point:
A Superman Returns inspired Superman/Batman fic
The rest of that Beowulf novelette

And after that?

I'm looking for a new fandom. Smallish, not big enough to get lost in. Something where I know the source material, and the people are friendly, and preferably aged older than fourteen. Like I said, currently having distinct apathy towards the football fandom (not the game, just the fandom), and I want a new ball park to play in....

Oh, and have now watched the last two episodes of this series of Dr Who, so will be going back through people's back entries to comment on spoilery stuff in the near future.

Wow, I'm very excited about all those things you have to write. :)

As for a new fandom... I can't help you. I usually pay attention to House fandom (neither small nor very nice), and Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show fandom (middle sized and not specially friendly). :/

I agree completely over the need for a new fandom, but have absolutely no clue how to find one.

Because the reruns are on TV here at the moment and several people on my flist are rabid shippers, I'm slowly but surely getting pulled into the M*A*S*H fandom :) It's small and everyone seems quite mature and friendly, the quality of the fanfiction I've come across is quite high, and dude - as nentari says the subtext in M*A*S*H is so strong that it may as well be text.
