I breathed a huge sigh of relief upon hearing your comments--and I'm so glad the story lived up to your expectations. I adore this trilogy of books--the text is so rich it's hard not to want to pull it into new efforts. I was glad to see it represented more than once in Yuletide--and I realize now that the other story was yours! So wonderful and rich! Very, very well done!

I'm glad the Rivers connection worked for you--I wasn't sure where your interests lay in "slashy sex" but the early exchanges with Rivers seemed so ripe for interpretation. And the relationships between Rivers and his patients were so delicious and complex--lovely stuff.
