GYARGH I just missed out on Arsenal v PSV champion's league tickets by about 0.1 of a second, by not clicking the button quick enough. They came on sale on ticketmaster at nine-thirty, and the first kind I clicked on were far too expensive, so I stupidly tried for a cheaper kind and there was nothing left. Gone. Couldn't afford the expensive ones... but wish I'd just paid for them anyway. Sulk.

EDIT: SQUEEEEEEEEE After large amounts of fucking around on Ticketmaster I've managed to get tickets. Problem was it wasn't letting me buy two tickets together, there were still singles left. So I've managed to come up with two tickets for the match. They're at opposite ends of the stadium, but they do both exist. And couldn't buy them both on the same credit card, so I now owe opportunemoment money. But still SQUEEEEE. Slightly more expensive than the cheap tickets, but cheaper than the stupidly expensive tickets.

Not sure how thrilled my mother's going to be at the thought of my brother basically unchaperoned at Highbury. We might just not tell her.

My Mum is not at all thrilled that I go to football matches chaperoned ('cos football is clearly the epitome of evil), so I wouldn't tell mine if I was going alone.

Technically speaking not going alone. Just sitting alone. And she probably won't care so much cos my brother's gone with just friends his own age, which if anything is likely to get him into MORE trouble than just being all by himself... and I'm big enough and ugly enough to take care of myself.
