In other news, threeeee nii-iiiil! which is something of a relief. College fucked around with the TV screen, in that it still wasn't set up yet in the bar nine minutes before kick off. They got it up in time for kick off, we watchd about the first eight mins, and then somebody upstairs in the JCR, not registering that the sky had been plugged into the screen in the bar downstairs, tried to change the channel with it and killed the whole thing. While they were fixing that, someone managed to rip out the cable, and so it went down AGAIN, and didn't come on again until about thirty seconds before the first goal.
And I take back everything I ever said about Rooney. Apart from the nice stuff, obviously. And have I mentioned any time recently that I love Stevie Gerrard? Clean sheet for David James is very much a Good Thing. And why does everyone on the pitch always have it in for Owen Hargreives? Specifically, WHAT'S with the off-the-ball tackles?
