I left a fic journal lying around back stage at Cradogan Hall today, and forgot to pick it up again. I now have visions of my choir master walking off with it. It was at least a vaguely tame notebook, LOTR fandom rather than football, and slash-free as far as I remember. But. I've lost a chunk of writing, and I have paranoia about who's going to pick it up...

And we bumped into an old friend from choir that we hadn't seen for years. It was very odd. We knew here when we were fifteen and she was eighteen, and I remember her best for having several flings with fourty-year-old men, a habbit she seems to be continuing, although it squicks me considerably less now than it did then. Which takes the grand total of old FCMG memebers I thought I'd never see again that I've randomly bumped into over the past year to four-and-a-half.

And. I'm soooo far behind with advent fic it's not funny. Concerts took up more time than I was expecting. But I can now sing the Hallelujah chorus. Which is a good thing, because owning up to never having sung it was always kinda embarassing. Also, [community profile] yuletide craziness was... crazy. Squeezing in time to download slash on to [personal profile] opportunemoment's dad's computer so I could send it to a total stranger to upload to the site, so that I could get some sleep between the manic singing was kinda... interesting. But. All is done. So now I can write advent fic. Yes.

I think that's all the news from Jessie-land. Other than it's two days til christmas and I haven't yet bought a single christmas present because I'm the crappest least organised person to walk the planet...

EDIT: Eeeeeeeeh I got a no christmas mix cd in the post from [profile] ladydewinter! Squeee it's soooo coool. I love you and thank you and *hugs* :D

My brother swears blind he heard on the radio a news story saying that Steven Gerrard and other Liverpool footballers were mobbed by gay fans after having a christmas do at a gay club...

Reaction one: OMFG!!!11!1! Squeeeeeee!

Reaction two: I don't believe my brother heard and I didn't.

Reaction three: They really do make it easy for us sometimes, don't they?

Reaction four: ... my brother knows me well enough to pass on stories about liverpool players and gay clubs. And he actually smiled when I bounced up and down in front of him. I'll make a slasher of that boy yet.

Reaction five: Did I mention the squeeeee?
