I don't mind having read all the Terry Pratchetts, but the number of Jaqueline Wilsons I've got through is quite embarassing. And I ought to brush up on my Hardy, but I can't quite be bothered with the Russians somehow.
And we had to do one of these (it was the Guardian top 100) in class before Christmas. There was someone who'd read 80+ out of a hundred. I'd only read 15. The person who scored lowest had read eight, and that included all the Terry Pratchett and Harry Potter. Considering this is someone doing English at Oxford AND he's in the year above me, I was quite impressed by that.
