Apr. 11th, 2004 10:17 pmTwo updates from Rome on my friendspage today. One from
thassalius and one from
lucy_lupin. Which made me have the thought pretty much for the first time that both of those two are in Rome. Which is a completely stupid and pointless thought to be having really. They'd have no way of recognising each other if they met, and not a heck of a lot in common other than the LOTR thing which seems to be the common thread running through ninety percent of my RL and LJ friends.
Anyway. For all of you (alright then, both of you) with any interest in Regeneration and Billy Prior a) I know I promissed you some writing which I still may well post at some point in the near future and
b) I've re read the last pages of Ghost Road again, and registered (actually, I'd had the thought before but never managed to share it) that she never actually spells out Billy's death. The reader only ever sees him lose consciousness, there's no funeral, no letter to Sarah or Rivers, no nothing other than that bit from Billy's POV, which again I say doesn't have to be read as him dying. So. Do either of you want the plot-bunny of what happened when he went home, shot up but still alive?
In other news - I'm feeling all religiously deprived. I missed our Seder service, which would have been secular anyway (yes it is possibly to do a secular seder). I haven't sung a Passion. In fact, I've not sung any religious music at all over easter. And loads of people have been posting easter-related stuff - and I'm in a distinctly non-atheist mood - and... I dunno, this thought isn't going anywhere.
So. Think that's it from me.
